Reverend Hellfire & the Tapeloops

Anarchic & Lo Fi, using an eclectic mix of keyboards, trumpet, viola and bass, The Tapeloops ran their own venues, put out their own records, booked their own tours. They were hard core DIY long before it became fashionable, back when it was necessary. Later on they got a real trumpet, some guitars (admittedly, one of the guitars was composed largely of Popsicle sticks) and learned to play three chords. Subsequently they became one of Brisbane's most exciting live bands, generating a guitar-driven wall of sound that predated Grunge by ten years.
